Prof. Yoshihiko Matsui

Pesticides and Volatile Compounds in Drinking Water Quality Regulation: Chemical Mixtures and Indirect Exposure Assessment

Dr. Yoshihiko Matsui is a professor of Hokkaido University in Japan. His research interests include (1) adsorption, coagulation, and filtration for water treatment and (2) drinking water quality regulation. Dr. Matsui has been awarded with Prizes for Science and Technology from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology–Japan, and The JSWE Award, The JSWE Research Award, and The JSWE Paper Award from Japan Society of Water Environment. Dr. Matsui is a previous IWA Board Member of IWA, a previous JSWE president, and previous Senior Program Officer of The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. He has been served as a chair of IWA Japan National Committee and an editor of Water Research.
